More than 2.5 billion women in the world are excluded from formal financial system. The situation is worse in Africa where more than 70% of women experience financial exclusion and barriers to access financial services. We are on a mission to accelerate vulnerable women financial inclusion and independence through innovation, entrepreneurship and job creation.

1. 1. We invest in programmes improving income-generating activities for women such as small scale businesses, community saving schemes and small loans.
2. 2. We support programmes developing women skills and capacities to compete for work in men dominated industries.
3. 3. We leverage and increase women access to technology so they can actively take part in the global economy.

• We are leading right-based campaigns and supporting programmes that eradicate harmful traditions and cultural norms that subject women to all forms of injustice, exclusion and abuse.
• We work, together with women and communities, to develop participatory and safe platforms that empower women to speak up, spread awareness and break down barriers.
• We combine community-based education programmes and innovative tools to educate women on their rights
• We work with affected women and conduct research to generate evidence and support the development of informed women’s rights policy
